I thought I would take a study break to share this with you all. In the next month or so, there will be opening in the West End (that’s Broadway for London) Priscilla, Queen of the Desert the Musical. The production, from what I’ve heard, will feature the main actors lip-syncing (they are drag queens, of course) to actual female singers who are SUSPENDED OVER THE STAGE during the whole performance. This will mean that Priscilla, La Cage aux Folles, and Hairspray will all be playing in London at the same time, and it’s not even Pride yet. Holy gay!
Light candles. Sacrifice goats. Whatever it takes for this show to do well enough to open in New York and do a national tour. Attention must be paid. No joke. Respect:
