So we’re starting to win, and they’re starting to get scared of our big gay same-sex lovin’ storm. What’
s unfortunate is how effective I’m afraid videos like this can be when watched by Joe and Jane South. But what’s really bad is how disgustingly vague this video is. No facts, no quotes, nothing. Just generic statement after generic statements played by “actors based of true stories”. Awesome.
But then again, what do we have to counteract with? I honestly haven’t seen any form of media go out that has driven any sort of message or personal story that’s worth 2 cents. I wanna beat the shit out of opposing viewpoints with a strong fact or two, tied in by some very real people.
We’ve done a decent job of non-media presentations. The prop 8 rallies, the political activism, the existing….but media is still a powerful tool, and that tool is a little flaccid on our camp.
