Sure, I could have made a joke about Prop 8 being upheld, but I was taught early on never to make fun of retarded things. They can’t help the fact that they’re retarded.
Honestly, you won’t find too many political discussion on this website. Yes, it directly affects all of us, and yes, one should be knowledgeable about whatever subjects affect us, but I’ve simply never been passionate about these sorts of things. So, rather than try to be a flaming torch to political insight, I’d much prefer to be the comic relief that you come back to once you’ve fought the good fight. Or whatever. You see, I’m being deliberately shallow, so it’s cool. But occasionally, I’ll dabble.
Speaking of flaming torches of political insight, yesterday I met what I’d classify as a hero in my book: Dan Savage. “Met” is a loose term, since I basically gushed at him for a second and then just tee-heed at ANYTHING he said. He’s really quite the DILF. I could go on, but I feel I probably fan-girled it up a little too much yesterday. Anyway, thanks Dan!
