The Sims 3 got decent reviews. I used to play the original pretty often, but my interest sort of waned with the second one. I also dislike paying 20 dollars any time they decide to add new content. I’m a total CAG (cheap-ass gamer)…DLC, expansions, and subscription based games are not my friends (Guild Wars rocks me, ps). Clark, too, seems to have fallen off the Sims 3 train. I’m sure there are other reasons besides the one above. I’m pretty sure, anyway.
Now, if I may further geek out a bit — Palm has pretty much sold me on the Pre phone. I waited until Apple’s conference was finished, so see if they’d woo me once and for all over to the iPhone, but I’m not convinced. Part of it is my cheap-assedness (new word!). I already have my iPod Touch, which does 80% of what the iPhone does, and without costing me $90+ a month. The Pre does almost anything the iPhone does, plus some cool additions, all for $70. So yeah, I think I can live without editing my jerk-off videos on my phone. Besides, it sounds like AT&T is pretty douche-tacular.
