For anyone who is celebrating Gay Pride this weekend (like Seattle is), have a good one. Follow the guidelines above, and you should have a wonderful, if not highly stereotypical, time.
I’m lucky enough to be working on the Hill during the ENTIRE weekend. That’s gonna be a whole lotta gay all up in my grill. (Not to be confused with Broadway Grill, which will probably be even busier than my restaurant). Giant, public events are fun for most everyone except those who have to work in the same area. While it won’t be easy, I have no doubt it will be one of the most fun, if not most interesting, weekends I’ve worked. It’s a shame I have to enforce the “No shoes, no shirt, no service” policy. Actually, no, there will probably be plenty of times I’ll be ecstatic to enforce said rule.
But you know what I’m even MORE-ER excited about?!

There is now a Capitol Hillbillies Online Store! There’s only a few stickers and an AWESOME hat (buy one for your mom too!) at the moment, but that’s all I think we need at the moment. Please, shoot me an email if there’s something you’d like to see in the future, be it a joke or certain product. I’d like to do shirts sometime — I know someone who can do them really well, really cheap (compared to CafePress sub-par, kinda pricey shirts) so let me know if that’s something ya’ll would like.
