I’m a huge fan of Jason Mraz. I’m a fan of the “look-how-cute-and-normal-and-in-love-I-am” vibe that I get from him. Like, if anyone was to sing me a love song, I’d want it to be Mr. Mraz.
This guy, Eric Hutchinson, has a VERY similar sound, but a little more…bouncy I guess? While Jason Mraz is an excellent lyricist, he crams a lot of words into each song (because, after all, it’s all about the wordplay). Eric Hutchinson has much simpler lyrics, but a great beat to go with them. If you’re looking for some simple feel-good music, I highly recommend his album “Sounds Like This” Here’s one of the official music videos off his site.
