This comic would have been just a tad more accurate yesterday like I intended, but when half your life is in one city and your other half is in another, things don’t always as planned.
Anyway, YAY GLEE!!
I can tell for this season, they’re really cranking up the crazy. EVERYONE seems a little more nuts than before, especially Will (who TOTALLY got to make out with Idina Menzel!!). Not a peep from Kurt or Quinn for the entire episode, but that’s sorta how this series works: when you have that many personalities, you have to push some characters aside to get any story across. Overall, the songs didn’t grab me, but the dialogue did. I’m excited. And James. St. Hottie is a welcome addition.
For those who don’t watch the show: your own damn fault. HULU!
Three things, for the record: (1) Your new boy, the broody, Jessy I’m-such-a-bad-boy St. Whatever is played by Jonathan Groff, an openly gay 25-year-old Broadway actor, so you should totally go for it. (2) He starred (most famously) in Spring Awakening opposite your-girl-with-the-nose-and-the-hair-and-the-two-gay-dads-and-the-Streisand-song (I really don’t know their names, sorry) a few years back in ‘06/’07. (3) I saw Groff’s ass, in person, in said production, and you really SHOULD go for it if you get the chance. The ass, not the show, to be clear.
Hey, Stu, big fan. I do have a question though. Why is William naked in almost every strip? I never understood that or saw anything about that. Is he a nudist?
I never really explained it, it just became a “thing.” But all the Hillbillies are based of real people, and William’s real-life counterpart finds himself (or others find him) naked quite often. I wouldn’t call him a nudist, since he doesn’t actively find reasons to be nude — but it’s probably true that he has his clothes off more than he has them on. Me? I get out of bed and ger dressed, shoes included, with no intention to leave the apartment any time soon.
I made plans so I wouldn’t miss a second of the Glee season premiere, but then again I’m nutty that way. Also, Kurt did have one single line in the premire, if you recall, that had me laughing and then made me feel bad for laughing: “No she’s dead, this is her son.” which is pure awesome win for him, and sad at the same time.
He also had one in the beginning. He said something along the lines of, “We’re the glitterati.” It right before the slushees. Also, I vaguely remember reading something about Will always having his thermostat really high, and thus didn’t feel he needed to where clothes. However, that really only explains it in the context of his home.
