So, in case you hadn’t heard, those crazy wack-a-do’s from the church of Phelps are at it again. This time, God hates nerds, geeks, dorks etc — specifically, those comic lovin’ ones. Us comic loving fags? Well, Clark mentioned that it’s probably a double negative, canceling each other out, and so we’re probably a-ok in their book.
Man, are these people nuts or what?
[Some of you eagle-eye readers might notice the comic looks a bit different -- the reason being that I'm now creating it in Adobe Illustrator instead of Flash (CS2 suite, for those curious). Up until this point, I've been drawing the comic in pencil, inking it, scanning it, then make Flash trace it, color, etc. That's been working pretty well, and 2 years later it's become a breeze and I've learned quite a lot of tricks. But in the end, Flash is still a program made for internet animation, and not high quality images. I figure it's time to improve things around here, and so now that my digital inking skills have gotten a little better, I'm now inking and creating the comic all in Illustrator. This is still a new process -- I have to re-learn everything that had become second nature in Flash. So things might be a little bland for a few weeks, but the eventual goal in a much prettier, smoother, and all together more professional look. Bear with me for a while, won't you?
