Now, I love our lord and savior Lady Gaga as much as any of the other gays out there, but I do have to say I’m a little surprised to hear from Vanity Fair that she does cocaine. That’s right, she admitted in an interview that she still does cocaine, and frankly my dear, that explains a bit.
Just sayin’! Though personally I would have pegged her for an X girl, or even Liquid X…..am I right? I mean come on, someone who makes that many sexual innuendos has got to have an itch to scratch somewhere in the libido area. Lets just hope thing bad happens to her, for that will be the day the saddest rainbow ever flew at half-mast.
I kind of take exception to the last half of your last sentance. From a historical point of view, the death of Judy Garland was much worse than if Lady Gaga died. On the anniversary of JG’s death, we had the Stonewall Riots. Granted, the conditions of society are very different today. JG sang songs that gave our people hope in a time when you could still be arrested for simply being in a gay bar.
Honestly, I don’t understand the community’s obsession with her. Sure, she’s put out some catchy tunes but she’s not an activist of any sort. Is it really just the flashy ostentatiousness of her performances and attitude? Standing up and saying that you’re pro gay rights is awesome, no doubt, but it’s not the bold, brave statement it used to be. What has she done aside from saying she likes us and occasionally likes girls herself?
Oh I’m SOOO not saying she’s a Judy Garland! lol No, I’m just saying she’s a big gay icon and, whether I agree with it or not, she’d be heavily missed by the gay community. Yeah, I hear you though, other than bringing us great music that we can put in the clubs and watch her be outrageous (which we seem to LOVE).
