It’s true. I am almost a month without internets, and I have no idea when the webz are coming to my flat (or anyone else, for that matter). When my school library was closed for the week, I ended up just standing outside in the cold with my laptop and books saying, “But, I need internet. You CAN’T be closed. INTERNET!!! (in a Streetcar-Named-Desire kind of way)” Thank the gods for the British Library, and its free wireless internet (though what kind of people block the gay sites? How is a boy supposed to get laid without internet? I ask you, how?).

OK, I’m kind of an indie rock twat and had never seen that. But wow, that’s pretty awesome. That’s the first video I’ve seen in a while where you can actually see the dancers dance — there are some pretty long stretched without a cut, and you can usually see all three women, head to toe.

And I want me one o’ them damn cyborg gloves. Amazon wishlist?

If “marriage” is defined as a religious ceremony, then yes, I’m against most gay marriages. In a lot of religious texts, homosexuals are not equals and are considered sinners, etc. so the ceremony is essentially “fake”. But like I said, in a legal and personal sense, as in the union of two people as partners, I think that we should get all the rights that straight couples do. And if you want to have a big gay wedding, knock yourself out, but I still think having a priest there would be silly.
