I’m currently sitting down eating potato chips — as in, the opposite of yoga. But you know what? The shit is hard.

As difficult as it is, it’s a pretty awesome way to work-out. I doubt I’m going to have a chest of doom and triceps to match, but that’s, of course, not the point. You don’t finish up a “rockin’” yoga routine with a protein shake and half a chicken. I’m not after the Strongest Man award at the moment — something closer to Man Who Can Touch His Toes And Maybe Try Those Freaky Deeky Porn Positions award. You ever seen that competition? It’s nuts.

Out and proud gays in the military? That’s like out and proud politicians. Draaaaaaaaama. Besides, we’re pretty sexually charged folk, and most of us have a “thing” for uniforms, or muscles, or dominating personalities, or combat boots, or all of the above. There is a tremendous amount of porn that devoted especially towards the military fetish, I would think way more so than any other uniformed career. You don’t see “Waiters gone wild” or “Putting the ASS in Assistant Manager at Best Buy” very often, do you?

You do not.

Sure, there’s cops and firemen and all those, but we’ve been gaying those up for decades. We have a special place in our hearts (and bums) for the military scene, and once Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell is repealed (and it will be), the next line of action will be Don’t Kiss, Don’t Tell.

Have you all sobered up from your pride weekends yet? No? You can go back to bed. I’ll wait.

You never really know what you’re getting with an online hook-up until it’s dangling in front of your face. Unless you’re William, where he knows exactly whats he’s getting, like an enhanced version of the “guess your weight” carnival game.

It’s been like, 8 seconds since John landed back in Seattle from London, and now he’s off to New York in another 8 seconds. I’m lucky to see the other side of this state, let alone a different one altogether. At least I don’t feel like he’s on another planet this time.

Whenever you’re in a small, tight-knit community, it’s hard to introduce someone when the whole town has already been there and done him.

In fact, when I meet someone and we can’t, after extensive research, find any “connections” like the ones above, it’s entirely unbelievable. As in, I won’t actually believe it. I will just assume you don’t remember the time you got drunk and hooked up with three of my ex-boyfriends. It’s not because I’M a slut (entirely) but because gays are just a very finite resource, and to find an untapped (ha!) one is simply unheard of.

Speaking of rare things and unicorns, someone was kind enough to tip the last comic to the folks at Unicorn Booty, and I want to pass them onto you, since the site is pretty amazing, pretty generous, and pretty gay.

If we’re going to insult, the least we can do is be topical about it.

It’s hard for me to feel the full effect of this catastrophe, since I’m quite a ways away from it, but I really can’t imagine if the entire port of Seattle, its beaches, etc. all a rusty orange. Looks like dumping a fuckton (approx.) of mud on top of it is working (for now), but couldn’t we have used more effective debris to clog it? The bullshit produced by Anne Coulter, John McCain, and Rush Limbah probably would have been way more effective — but perhaps that would have been a threat to our liberal-minded aquatic life.

I figured that if I went backwards in time for #100, it might be fun to forward for #200. This actually had no connection to Betty White hosting this past SNL, but it is a fine coincidence.

Golden Girls has to be one of televisions finest sitcoms. The premise seems so stupid, and I doubt if it was proposed today, it wouldn’t fly — but the topics and humor were way ahead of its time, putting it right next to a more modern series like Friends or Will & Grace. And I sort of imagine that four fags getting old and living together would be an identical set up. Bad pastels and wicker furniture and all.

Sometime, the most comical thing about news like this is that it’s news. I suppose it’s only a matter of time before Disney gets its first openly gay character (besides that kid in High School Musical). Gay characters in more mainstream comics (Archie, DC, Marvel) is happening more and more in VERY different ways. Eventually, we won’t need to report every single one that gets introduced. (”THIS JUST IN! Marvel’s newest super girl is ASIAN!”) About that time, Capitol Hillbillies will be in your family friendly Sunday funnies, between Family Circus and Fox Trot.

After I wrote this comic, I had a kid who looked JUST like Brent Corrigan (NSFW) come into my restaurant. Awwwwkward.
